About the artist: Pierre Chazelat is a French painter known for his vivid and dynamic artworks that capture the essence of the human experience. He developed a unique style that blends figurative and abstract elements, using bold colors and expressive brushstrokes to create powerful images that convey emotion and movement.

From an early age, Woussen excelled at drawing. His father was an excellent technical draughtsman in the days of the drawing board and Indian ink. His grandfather was also a gifted sculptor. Woussen trained as a painter at the Bruges Academy of Fine Arts, where he was inspired by the great master and painter Lionel Poupaert.
